So, I’ve been real busy working on my novel, recently. The deadline is the 15th of August, and I have 5 or 6 chapters left to write – plus editing.
Anyway…not sure why I even write anything on my blog anymore, ’cause no one reads it, but whatever. Lol! I know Eli reads it. So…there we go. 🙂
So, yeah – been really busy around here! I went to Boston at the beginning of June, which was awesomely amazing! Boston is a GORGEOUS city, and I can’t wait to go back! 😀 The public transit was so much fun!! O_O And the mussels….. *dies of happiness*
Then, at the end of June I went to the 2011 OYAN Summer Workshop/Reunion. It was AWESOME and AMAZING! The speakers that Mr. and Mrs. S brought in were awesome and wonderful, and their hearts for the Lord were so inspiring!! It was their talks about changing the world with your story, through writing, that convinced me to try and finish my novel for the OYAN 2011 contest. Honestly, I don’t care if it doesn’t even make finalist. To know that I finished a novel, and got it entered is really enough for me. 🙂 I have better ideas that I can develop more, and put more time, effort and love into. They’ll be much longer, too. The next book I plan to work on, right after this one is so full of my own personal passion that I think it’ll probably be close to twice as long. We’ll see. 🙂
So…then, in July we had my graduation party – I’m officially DONE with high school!! It’s so weird to say that! Oh, and I just want to say that I have THE MOST AMAZING COUSIN IN THE WORLD. Nicholas, if you ever read this, you should know that you are one of the best things that ever happened to me, and if I had to do it all over again, the only thing I would change is moving away – because that cut our growing up time together waaaaaaaaay too short! 😦 You have come to so many of my parties and gatherings. You have no idea what that means to me! 🙂 Love you!
Back to my summer…I just got back on Sunday evening from three days at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, 2011. FANTASTIC as usual. 😀 The only thing was that there weren’t many military aircraft there this year. 😦 No cargo planes, hardly any fighters. You’d think there was a war on or something. 😛
Anyway, must get back to writing my book. Maybe you’ll be able to read it sometime! 🙂
